Sedona Sunset Spirit Ceremony Circle

Sedona sunset over cliff silhouette invites connection with the spiritual energies of sunset, moonrise and stars.

Summer Sedona Sunset by Monica Parsley.

Sunset each day is an auspicious time for reflection, awe, gratitude and ceremony.

The Sedona Sunset Ceremony program is held at a red rock scenic site. We meet at pre-sunset and sense how the nature energy shifts as the light changes.

1.5 hour circle available by reservation with deposit year round for 1 to 12 total participants.

See Saturday program calendar below for seasonal timing.

  • We end just as sun goes below horizon so you have time so stay and take in the beauty on your own during the otherworldly afterglow and sky reflections time.
  • Available on other days of the week too.
  • Can be timed to coincide with full moon rising during the hour before sunset.

Joyful Ceremony at a Sedona red cliff site by Sandra Cosentino

Connect with ancestral wisdom on ceremony in nature.

Sunset connection is a daily spiritual practice that humans have used since the dawn of time to connect with the greater field of energy.

It is a potent way for humans to share reciprocity with the natural life forces.  At sunset the sun seems to touch the earth and is symbolic of balance of life force energies.

Some of your experiences:

  •  nature and season connections including new and full moon
  • divining walk
  • spirit journey to the drum for inspiration & guidance
  • sunset ceremony that we co-create: based on season and what inspires you from your experiences during the circle that you want to activate in your life.

Reaching far back into human consciousness is a knowing of the importance of ceremonial circles.

Since time immemorial indigenous peoples have practiced sunrise ceremony and sunset ceremony.  Ceremonies remind us that we are connected with all of creation.

We end just as sun goes below horizon so you have time so stay and take in the beauty on your own during the otherworldly afterglow and sky reflections time.

This sunset program is led by Sandra Cosentino.  And it is based on her more than 3 decades of experiences leading and participating in universal ceremonies and a lifetime of nature connection as a spiritual practice. She has been inspired by sharing in friendship and respect with Native peoples, but does not copy tribal ceremony.

Cost for 1.5 hour program:

  • $70 each with 3 or more total participants
  • $95 each for 2 total participants
  • $160 with 1 person

Program is booked individually; maximum of 12 people.
Group discount available with 5 or more.
Included:  chairs and program and use of drums and rattles
Not included:  transportation

All is made new

Sun Bear’s timeless wisdom about human’s role in ceremony.

Canyon de Chelly drumming circle during a vision quest retreat by Sandra Cosentino.

“The most important thing to remember about ceremony is that it is a way for humans to give back to the creation some of the energy that they are always receiving.

  • ~ When we sing, we give energy through our voice.
  • ~ When we drum we allow the earth’s heartbeat to join with our own.
  • ~ When we pray we give energy through our hearts.
  • ~ When we look upon our relations, we give blessings thru our eyes.

When humans participate in ceremony, they enter a sacred space where:

  • ~ Everything outside of that space shrivels in importance.
  • ~ Time takes on a different dimension.
  • ~ Emotions flow more freely.
  • ~ The bodies of participants become filled with the energy of life and this energy reaches out and blesses the creation around them.
  • ~ All is made new; everything becomes sacred.”
